You don’t know where you belong, nobody takes you seriously, and it feels like nobody understands.

Then the unthinkable happens. 

The friend you thought was invincible dies. The boy who promised you forever lied. The girl you’ve known since kindergarten moves away. The dream you held like a prayer is yanked out of your hands. The life you planned with Pinterest boards and bullet journals is destroyed in seconds.

These are the moments that transform us.

These are the moments I write for—the ones when the night is long, and you don’t know whether it’s worth it to wait for the morning. 

I’m here to tell you that it is.

I’m here to sit with you in the shadows and tell you stories until the sun rises.

About Your Storyteller

Bree Dawn is a voracious book dragon who believes in the power of stories. As a young girl, she consumed as many stories as her small hands could hold. Now, she uses grief and loss to remind young adults that they are never alone in their darkness. When she’s not planting seeds of light in her own work, you can find Bree reading the latest YA novel she picked up on a whim or listening to Taylor Swift in her hometown where she lives with her cat, Angel.
