The Official Bio

Bree grew up consuming as many stories as her small hands could hold. Her obsession matured from Nancy Drew and American Girl Doll books to The Hunger Games and Harry Potter, but her passion never wavered. 

Several years later, she wrote her first novella during NaNoWriMo and discovered the joy of being the storyteller and not just a bookish reader.

After losing her friend right before graduation, Bree learned that following God’s calling is about so much more than just joy. Grief suddenly tethered her heart to heaven and loss turned her world grey. But through those dark nights, her purpose became clear. 

Now, Bree uses grief and loss to remind young adults that they are never alone in their darkness.

When she’s not planting seeds of light in her own work, you can find Bree reading the latest YA novel she picked up on a whim or listening to Taylor Swift in her hometown where she lives with her family and her cat, Angel.
