One Year Blogoversary // Reacting to Your Assumptions

It’s here! It is officially my very first blogoversary in the public blogosphere. I’m so happy that I made the decision to start blogging publicly. It was honestly one of the best internet decisions I’ve ever made and I’m so thankful for every one of you who has stopped by my little corner of the internet. *throws confetti and sprinkles*

Before jumping into everybody’s assumptions, I’d like to throw some cool blog stats at y’all because none of this would have been possible without you!

Now, onto the assumptions…

Brooke’s assumption

I assume you are a big fan of writing poetry. And a big fan of Spencer Reid. *smirk*

Alas, if you follow my Twitter for any length of time, you will know that this is 100% true. Poetry has such a special place in my heart, as does my little autistic genius boy from Criminal Minds. Nicely done, Brookie! *blows kiss*

Jaedyn’s assumption

You like the aesthetic of space more than space itself…

I DON’T EVEN KNOW HOW YOU KNOW THIS BECAUSE I NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT IT UNTIL YOU COMMENTED AND I IMMEDIATELY KNEW YOU WERE SO RIGHT. Like geez, how do y’all know me better than I know myself? Color me impressed, my little voyagers. But yes, long story short, this is very very true and I adore the aesthetic of space but would never ever want to go to space.

Clarissa’s assumption

You’re a romantic.

10000000% true. It’s kinda sad actually. *laughs*

Grace’s assumption

You like the color purple and ferris wheels. Lol.

Purple is my favorite color, so yes to that one is super legit. As for the ferris wheels, I’ve actually only been on any a couple of times and I didn’t like it, so gonna have to say no to that one.

Faith’s assumptions

You would come hang out with me and Dean if we knew him. *laughs* You can have Sam. *winks*

Ummmm….HECK YES. Buuuuut I call dibs on Dean, Sam is so not my type. I mean, he kinda is, but Dean has always been my favorite. *side eyes you* …I’ll fight you for him. *laughs*

Your favorite color is purple.

My favorite color is, indeed, purple. But I’m curious, how’d you know? Is it just the fact that my twitter is literally COVERED in purple? Or was it just a gut feeling?

You love books about vampires.

I DO. I ABSOLUTELY ADORE VAMPIRE NOVELS. Specifically, Vampire Academy and The Twilight Saga. These two vampire stories have stolen my heart foreverrrrrr

You would die without Twilight. *laughs*

Yep, 100%. Twilight is my guilty pleasure and I feel no shame in admitting that it is my favorite.

You’re a kind person who will stop at nothing to be friends with other kind people.

Very true. Geez, y’all know me too well. I gotta find a way to hide my secrets better, lol.

Irose5’s assumptions

You are very outgoing.

Um, I’m not really super outgoing. I’m an extrovert (technically), but I’ve become super introverted over the past couple years. So if it’s with someone I know, I’m probably obnoxiously outgoing, but if it’s meeting new people, I’m just like

Your fav color is blue.

My favorite color is technically purple, but I do really adore blue. *blue heart eyes*

You love cupcakes.

Cupcakes are good. Cupcakes are wonderful. Cupcakes are life.

You love to use big words all the time.

Um….not as much as I wish? I don’t actually use big words that often, so when I do, I’m really impressed with myself.

You love math.

….Nope. I’m not a math person. I can do it well enough, but I hate every second of it. Math people and English people are rarely the same people and I’m a hardcore English person, so…yeah, no.

Emma Jane’s assumptions

You like to daydream.

ALL. THE. TIME. Some of my best novel ideas are spurred by daydreaming.

You’re deep down a hopeless romantic.

Mmhmm, 100%. I’ve always been a hopeless romantic and I assume I always will be.

You prefer music over sport.

I’ve always preferred music over sport, even as a kid. I was never very outdoorsy (that’s a word, right???) so I oftentimes liked to stay inside and play piano or sing or something creative.

Your favourite animal is a dog.

I’m more of a cat person. I do like dogs and have always had one, but cats are more my type.

Nicole’s assumptions

You’re more of a spontaneous person than a planner.

Yeeeessssss??? I really don’t know because I’m a good mix of both. My anxiety NEEDS me to plan certain things, but my ADD side likes the spontaneity, so it balances out.

Late-night poetry is your thing.

how….how did you know??? I feel so called out right now. *crawls back into my blanket fort*

You like to think about the mysteries of space.

I do. I’m a massive space nerd, so send me your space documentary recommendations. PLEASE.

Germaine’s assumptions

You love people.

I really do love people. I try to be kind to everyone and show everyone the love of Christ. ❤

You have a deep appreciation for rain, but would rather have sunlight any day.

Nah. I really adore the rain, but I wouldn’t trade it for sunlight because my eyes are super sensitive to the light. So basically any time I go outside I have to have my sunglasses or IMMA DIE, YO. Thus, I prefer cloudy, overcast days to straight sunlight.

You doodle on things that aren’t really supposed to be doodled on (e.g. skin, furniture).

I AM MOST DEFINITELY A DOODLER OF THE SKIN. (wow, that sounds really creepy). I don’t draw on furniture because that just feels like, IMMORAL. But I do definitely doodle on my hands and arms. *shrugs*

Fara’s assumption

Soft generous cutest sweetest person ever. ❤

FARA, YOU ARE TOO SWEET, GIRL. <333333 I try to be a nice soft, generous person, but sometimes my bratty side shows up and ruins that. However, I genuinely appreciate the compliment, my dear. ❤

Ash’s assumptions

You’re an ambivert (a balance of introverted and extroverted).

Yeah, pretty much. I’m an extrovert with my people, but a full introvert around new people. Lol, I always like to say that I’m an extrovert with anxiety, thus making me act like an introvert when I’m not really. But now I’m morphing into an introvert, so who even knows anymore. *shrugs*

You have a special eye for aesthetics.

I like to think so, but idk, you’d have to take like a very scientific poll to come to an accurate conclusion. Most of my aesthetics are space related, go figure, but yeah, I definitely have a small HUGE obsession with aesthetics.

You’re a dancer (idk this was random *laughs*).

I was actually a dancer for a while, back in the day. I used to be a competitive gymnast, but during that time, I was also took ballet, so yeah, you’re actually spot on. Just…a little off with the timeline, since it’s not like a current thing. ❤

Let’s Talk!

Which assumptions did you think were the most creative? Did you guess my reaction correctly? Or did a few of them surprise you? I had so much fun with this and I cannot thank you all enough for supporting and loving me along on this beautiful voyage. Here’s to another fun, adventurous, and slightly mischievous year.

  4. This was so fun!!!!! HAPPY ONE YEAR! That’s such a huge milestone! ❤ So glad to have "met" you through the online world.

And can I just say yesss to all the ambivert, rainy days, daydreaming, and purple???? I kinda feel like we could be the same character in a book. Or best friends at the very least xD

And if you're into all things space, you HAVE to give Aimee Meester's Bright Eyes Podcast a shot. I know it's at least on YouTube!

    1. AHH, I’M SO HAPPY YOU’RE HERE💞💞💞 I’m so glad I “met” you too, Abi!

Ugh yes, I think we’d be exactly the same character in a book. BUT I CAN LIVE WITH BEING BEST BOOK FRIENDS TOO. 💛

YESSSS, I listened to the first complete season but stopped partway through the second season…I should get back to that.
